5 Reasons to Be Merry at NOLA’s Running of the Santas

It’s that time of year again! One of our favorite events, the Running of the Santas, is taking over the Warehouse District on December 7 for a day of Santa costumes and drink specials. Participants will meet at the South Pole (AKA Apres) and run to the North Pole (AKA Generations Hall). There won’t be a shortage of partying at either location!

Check out our top 5 reasons to buy tickets for this wild event!

1. Two party locations

The first party will begin at the South Pole (Apres) with drink specials and groovy music. Santas will eventually make their way to the North Pole (Generations Hall) for the second party of the evening where there will be live music by Category and a costume contest for the most spirited Santa. Double the parties mean double the fun!

2. VIP ticket perks

While general admission tickets include access to both parties and specialty drinks, VIP Running of the Santas tickets offer even more. If you can afford to go the extra mile, you’ll have access to an open bar and two hours of free beer. Plus, you’ll have exclusive entry to the VIP Lounge at Generations Hall.

3. Hotel discount

Running of the Santas is offering a discount code for rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn, which can be found on their website. Book a room with your pals so that the party doesn’t stop and the evening stays budget-friendly.

4. Donate to charity

A portion of proceeds from this event will benefit the That Others May Live Foundation, which provides support to Air Force Rescue Heroes and their families. Get into the holiday spirit by helping out a worthy cause!

5. You don’t actually have to run

If you’re not looking to start your New Year’s resolution early, you don’t actually have to run to the North Pole, which is only a few blocks from the starting point. Running after day drinking is not a good combo for anyone!
