CASA’s 4th Annual Superhero Run 5K
Saturday, April 6, 8:00 a.m., Start/Finish at Waveland Lighthouse, Waveland, MS
Marvel or DC? Pull out your capes and spandex and represent your favorite hero at this annual fundraising run for CASA, a group dedicated to championing abused and neglected children. At just an hour from NOLA, it’s well worth the trip to Mississippi, as you can spend the rest of the day at the beach after the race! Register here.

Blacklight Run New Orleans 5K
Saturday, April 13, 8:00 p.m., Shrine on Airline
Looking for a “glowing good time?” This is the race for you! Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome to participate in this bright, colorful 5K. Wear a white shirt and expect to be covered in Glow Powder, so you’ll shine in the Blacklight Glow Zones, and while you’re having a blast at the Blacklight After Run Party. Register here.
Crescent City Classic 10K
Saturday, April 20, 8:00 a.m., Start Downtown and Finish in City Park
One of the oldest 10K races in the country, the Classic is THE race to run in New Orleans. Over 20,000 people will gather Downtown for the Classic, which is considered to be “the originator of the party race,” and was even the first 10k to be televised nationally! Tchoupitoulas Barathon: 6 Bars, 6 Beers, 6 Miles
Friday, May 17, 6:05 p.m., Start at Le Bon Temps Roule and Finish at Grit’s Bar
Held two Fridays after Jazz Fest, the Barathon is back this year for its 38th running. “As serious as you want it to be,” run, walk or crawl your way from one bar to the next, where you’ll get a beer and encouragement to keep going. Greek Festival Run 5K, 1Mi
Friday, May 24, 7:00 p.m., Start/Finish at Holy Trinity Cathedral
This race, put on by the New Orleans Track Club, features an out and back course along Lakeshore Drive that not only provides great views of Lake Ponchartrain, but also breezes off the lake that will feel great and cool you down. Think of this fast, easy course as your excuse to enjoy tons of delicious moussaka, gyros and ouzo at Greek Fest after the race! Register here.
Father’s Day Race 2Mi, 1/2Mi
Sunday, June 16, 8:00 a.m., Start/ Finish in Audubon Park
This annual New Orleans Track Club race through scenic Audubon Park offers team awards for Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Grandfather/ Grandson and Grandfather/ Granddaughter teams, so bring the whole fam. You might be thinking 2 miles sounds a little short, but in June in New Orleans, 2 miles is plenty! Register here.
