National Hot Dog Day Celebration

There’s a holiday for just about everything, so why not take a day to celebrate one of America’s favorite summer foods? Join Dat Dog and local charity Son of a Saint for their “greatest day of the year” celebration that features a heated Dog Design Competition, music, food and drink specials, and all kinds of wacky weenie fun.

Michael Bublé

Everyone’s favorite Canadian Crooner (and king of Christmas jams) is bringing his classic- inspired style to the Crescent City. “It’s a Beautiful Day” to hear some jazzy pop songs that will have you “Feeling Good” the whole way “Home.”

Midsummer Scare

Get spooky at one of Nola’s most haunted haunts, and you just might be on TV! Free Summer Workout and Social

Meet fellow health-minded folks and get your sweat on with this free workout open to CrossFitters of all levels, including those who’ve never even heard of it! You’ll feel awesome as you “focus on HIIT (high-intensity interval training) movements to get your heart pumping,” but not as awesome as you’ll feel once you’ve got the workout in the bag and you walk to Tchoup Yard with the rest of the Big Easy CrossFit krewe. Louisiana Sportsman Show

Our state motto isn’t “Sportsman’s Paradise” for nothing! The state’s biggest outdoors show will feature “scores of exhibitors displaying and selling their fishing and hunting gear,” seminars throughout the weekend, and special guest appearances.

7th Annual Big Easy Big Heart 5K Run

Just across the lake lies Fontainebleau, a 2800-acre former sugar plantation turned state park. While a day of hiking is always a treat, opt for a totally different experience and join other runners for a trail race through beautiful swampland, under tree canopies, and along sandy beaches. Krampus in July German Luau

How does Krampus kick back and relaxing after a busy winter of punishing children? A German Luau, of course! Join him at this “unique summer experience blending the best of the islands and a German Biergarten.” The beer will be cold and the hula dancing performance will be hot! Enjoy some music, chow down on pretzels and sausage, snag some goodies from the silent auction and raffle, and enjoy the costume contest. Lederhosen with a Hawaiian shirt? Sounds good to us! Harry Potter Birthday Bash

Calling all Wizards, mount your broomsticks and fly over to The Twist of Lime to “celebrate the chosen one’s birthday!” (His actual birthday is on July 31… yeah, we’re nerds.) NOLA Vegan 2 The Soul Food Festival 2019

Following up last year’s success, the 2nd annual Vegan 2 the Soul (V2S) festival is a free fest that “brings food, lifestyle choices, and music together to celebrate and enjoy!” Chow down on food so delicious, it’ll convince the staunchest carnivores to give it a try. Plus, enjoy free yoga, meditation, and fitness classes, health and wellness panels, cooking demos, and live music.

WTUL presents Man Man plus Rebecca Black

Man Man, the brainchild of artist Honus Honus, is an experimental pop band that employs instruments you’d expect like piano, bass, and drums, with more unique instruments like clavinet, marimba, and French horn, and even sounds like toy noisemakers, spoons, and fireworks. Joining them is Rebecca Black, who will make Monday feel like Friday!

#FrayLife Glow Yoga & Buddha Belly Beer

This is no ordinary yoga class because you’ll be GLOWING in the most beautiful park in town! Join your NOLA Fray Fam to light up the night in glow sticks and paint as we unwind with an hour of yoga followed by a drink at Buddha Belly Bar! We’ll glow against the skyline during golden hour. All levels welcome, so grab some friends and get zen! After relaxing with yoga, you can let loose with a beer at Buddha Belly. Tickets available online.
