An offshoot of the Music Business Institute, this end of summer festival is an opportunity for the community to interact with music professionals while hearing live music, shopping local pop ups, eating from food trucks, and more. (starts at Crescent City BBQ // 1 p.m. // FREE)

Baby Cakes Baseball Bingo Night

Bingo, baseball, food and drinks – what could be a better way to spend your Thursday?

Big Easy Guitar Fest

The New Orleans Jazz Museum presents an incredible lineup of guitar heroes in their state of the art practice space. BREWSIANA: Craft Beer & Music Festival

Taste the best of what over a dozen local breweries have to offer in one place! In addition to sampling brews from local faves, you’ll enjoy live music, pub food, and the opportunity to win many great prizes. (House of Blues // 6 p.m. // $10+)

 

Sunday, August 25

Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues New Orleans

Spend your Sunday enjoying the best of Gospel music new and old, all while indulging in an all you can eat buffet of your breakfast favorites, southern classics and of course, House of Blues’ signature chicken and waffles. To sweeten the deal, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation, which “provides arts and music support to underserved youth.” (House of Blues // 10 a.m. // $35.65+)
