Krewe du Vieux & krewedelusion Parades, French Quarter/ The Marigny, 6:30pm &
krewedelusion Bedlam Ball, Candlelight Lounge, 9:30pm
Don’t miss two of the best, and raunchiest, parades of the season, which conveniently roll one after another through The Marigny and the Quarter. Krewe Du Vieux is dedicated to the “traditional concept of a Mardi Gras parade as a venue for individual creative expression and satirical comment,” while krewedelusion’s mission is “to save the Universe, beginning at its center- New Orleans.” After the parades roll, keep the party going by joining krewedelusion for a night of dancing to live music at the Candlelight Lounge.
‘tit Rex Parade, The Marigny, 4:30pm
Billed as “the world’s first Mardi Gras microkrewe,” the founders of ‘tit Rex saw superkrewe parades like Bacchus getting larger and larger and thought they’d see what happened if they tried the opposite approach. The parade rolls with 28 floats, all built around shoeboxes, to keep things tiny. Just as impressive as the parade itself are the miniature displays that line the route set-up by members of the crowd.
Luda-Gras (Ludacris Themed Dance Party), Mimi’s In The Marigny, 10:00pm
Celebrate Carnival season with some good, old-fashioned “Southern Hospitality.” Mimi’s will be pouring drinks and spinning Luda jams, so you can “Act a Fool” all night.

One of the biggest events of the year, Tyrese, Monica, Avant, 112, and Next are coming to the Smoothie King Center to serenade R&B Fans with their favorite Love Jams. Tickets are available online.
Coheed and Cambria with guest Foxing, The Fillmore, 6:30pm
Do a few neck rolls and get ready to headbang to prog rock and metal Gods Coheed & Cambria. This is an all-ages, standing room only show, which means plenty of moshing, so if you’ve always wanted to elbow a bunch of teenagers, this is your big chance. Tickets are available online.
HIIT Tuesday featuring Hour Blast, City Park Peristyle, 6:30pm
End the workday on a high note with an ass-kicking, high-intensity workout by Hour Blast fitness. People of all experience levels are invited to get their sweat on in one of the prettiest spots in the park. Work hard, and you’ll earn a visit to Café du Monde, right next door.
